A paper summarizing the research results of Keiichiro Mukai (The Graduate School of Medicine,Science and Technology)has been published in Current Microbiology.
It was revealed that the combination of the effect of rpoB mutation(mutation of RNA polymerase β subunit gene)and the concentration-dependent effect of the antibiotic lincomycin is effective in eliciting the potential secondary metabolic capacity of actinomycetes.
2020.8.4(Tue)
Our lab has moved to a temporary lab to start renovation work. So we took out all the equipment and fixtures in the laboratory, redeployed them in the temporary laboratory, and finally resumed the experiment. It was a big event in the hot summer.
2020.7.29(wed)
PhD. Nik, who worked hard on research activities together in our laboratory, returned to Thai safely after completing the one-year activity period.
She came to our Lab in the typhoon season a year ago, and this year she has been suffering from this covid-19 situation. It was a good experience for all the lab members to be able to share time with such a powerful teacher who are always positive in various situetions. Thank you very much!

The Research Grant of Nagano Society for the Promotion of Science D1 Keiichiro Mukai was applying for has been adopted!
2020.6.1 (Mon)
Finally, this year's lab activities have started in earnest! It was the first time for a lab member, whose laboratory activities had been restricted due to the influence of COVID-19, to have such an unpleasant experience of experimenting.
